1、Digital signal can be used for direct open loop control, the whole system is simple and cheap.

  2、The displacement corresponds to the number of input pulse signals, and the step error does not accumulate for a long time, which can form an open-loop control system with a relatively simple structure and a certain precision, or a closed-loop control system with a higher precision.  

  3、Brushless, motor body parts less, high reliability.  

  4、Easy to start, stop, positive and negative rotation and speed response.

  5、Self-locking capability is available when stopping.

  6、The step Angle can be selected in a wide range. In the case of small step, it can normally operate stably at ultra-low speed with high pitch, and can usually drive the load directly without the reducer.

  7、The speed can be adjusted smoothly over a wide range and several stepper motors can be operated in complete synchronization by a single controller. 

  8、The stepping motor has poor capacity with inertial load.

  9、Due to the out-of-step and resonance, the acceleration and deceleration methods of stepping motors are complicated according to the different utilization states.

  10、Special servo controller is required, and ordinary AC/DC power supply cannot be used to drive directly.
